You'll soon see some new faces patrolling the streets of Vincennes.
Deshon Johnson and Brandon Ramsey were sworn into the Vincennes Police Department on Thursday by Vincennes Mayor Joe Yochum.
Johnson, who is from South Holland, Illinois, graduated with a Homeland Security Degree from Vincennes University. He previously worked as a Certified Police Officer for the Vincennes University Police Department. Deshon says he is most excited about becoming the best officer he can be and creating new friendships along the way.
Ramsey is graduated from Palestine High School and previously worked as a Correctional Officer at the Lawrence County Correctional Facility. Ramsey said he is most excited about doing his dream job while serving the public.
