VINCENNES, Ind. (We Are Knox County) - An event celebrating diversity and promoting equality in the community is taking place in Knox County this weekend.
Rainbow Over the Bridge kicks off at 4:00pm on Saturday, June 22, at Patrick Henry Square in Vincennes.
This is the sixth year for the event.
The event is hosted by the non-profit group Wabash Valley Progressives.
This family-friendly event will feature live music from Josh Sollman and Buck Rogers Clark, a parade, and a drag show.
Food trucks and over 50 vendor booths will also be present.
An event organizer told WAKC News Now that this year's event includes several new activities, such as scavenger hunts, prize giveaways, and plenty of games and crafts for kids.
There is no cost to attend the event.
