MONROE CITY, Ind. (We Are Knox County) - A section of State Road 61 is temporarily closed.
The Indiana Department of Transportation announced on Monday that it will be closing State Road 61 from Waterworks Road to Wildwood Lane south of Monroe City.
INDOT says the closure is to allow crews to deep patch the road.
Those who live in the area will have access up to the point of closure.
