VINCENNES, Ind. (We Are Knox County) - Officials are investigating a fire that happened Wednesday night at a Knox County nursing and rehab facility.
Vincennes City Fire Chief Bret Bobe told WAKC News Now that firefighters responded to a call about a fire at Aperion Care, formerly Willow Manor, on Old Bruceville Road just before 11:30 p.m.
When crews arrived, they found smoke in the back of the building and a small fire in a supply room.
Firefighters quickly contained and extinguished the flames.
Residents were evacuated but no injuries were reported.
The Indiana State Fire Marshal is now investigating the cause of the fire.
