VINCENNES, Ind. (We Are Knox County) - Graze 1885, Starbucks, Dunkin’ Donuts, and Five Below are all preparing to open in Vincennes, bringing both new and returning options for coffee, dining, and shopping.
Graze 1885 announced on February 4 that it will be reopening in Vincennes after closing in September 2022.
The restaurant, which originally opened in August 2018, will return to its previous location at 116 Main Street.
A soft opening is scheduled for Saturday, February 15, from 8am to 12pm
“We’re so excited to open our doors again and bring Graze 1885 back to downtown Vincennes,” said owner Candice Miller.
“We can’t wait to welcome you all back!”
Vincennes Mayor Joe Yochum and Vincennes City Inspector Brad Snider confirmed with WAKC News Now that both Starbucks and Dunkin’ Donuts will also be opening locations in the city.
Starbucks will be located at 2250 Hart Street next to McDonald’s.
Heavy equipment is already on site, and dirt work has begun.
Dunkin’ Donuts is set to open at the corner of 6th and Busseron Streets.
The Historical Review Board approved the building design in a 3-1 vote, with the final plans incorporating more brick to better blend with the surrounding historical buildings.
Vincennes City Council Member Regina Blinn also confirmed with WAKC News Now that a Five Below will be built next to the new Aldi on Kimmell Road.
According to Blinn, bids for the project are currently being reviewed.
WAKC News Now reached out to Starbucks, Dunkin’ Donuts, and Five Below for more details on construction timelines and expected opening dates.
Starbucks was unable to provide information, and Dunkin’ Donuts and Five Below have not yet responded to requests for comment.
EDITOR’S NOTE: WAKC News Now originally reported that Five Below would be built next to Ollie’s. It will actually be built next to Aldi. The original report has been updated accordingly.
