VINCENNES, Ind. (We Are Knox County) - It was a busy morning for one business on Main Street in Vincennes.
Graze 1885 held its soft opening on Saturday.
"It was great to see the café filled with people again and to hear all the chatter, the laughing, and [see] the smiles on people's faces," said owner Candice Miller.
Graze 1885 announced on February 4 that it would be reopening in Vincennes after closing in September 2022.
"I reopened Graze because I have had so many people reach out to me about it over the years, saying how much they missed it—the atmosphere, the food—and I felt it was time to start again, not just for the community," said Miller.
The business, known for its rich coffee and gourmet sandwiches, plans to announce an official opening date in the coming weeks.
Miller told WAKC News Now that operating hours will be 6:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday, with plans to extend them in the future.
Graze 1885 is reopening in its former location at 116 Main Street.
Miller says she is glad to be back in Vincennes, serving great coffee and the community.
"The support I have received has been overwhelming and very humbling."
