Five new cases of COVID-19 were reported over the weekend for Knox County, bringing the total case count to 46.
11 patients are actively quarantined at this time. One patient remains hospitalized in stable condition, while the remaining patients are quarantined at home and are doing well.
Knox County Health Officer Dr. Alan Stewart says its up to the public to slow the current community spread. He encourages everyone to practice social distancing when in public.
