An investigation continues after a 'device' is found in a Vincennes apartment.

According to Police Chief Dusty Luking, members of the Knox County Drug Court Team were performing accountability checks at a residence in the 1900 block of College Avenue when potential explosive materials and components were identified. Residents in the area were evacuated during the recovery and investigation process.

A suspect has been identified and taken in to custody by the Vincennes Police Department.

We're told residents have been given the all clear.

The investigation into the incident continues.
